AN EPIC EDITION WHICH INCLUDED THE CELEBRATION OF THE EUROPEAN FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP WINNING.
The 5th edition of RFM SOMNII goes down in history, having surpassed all expectations. 100 thousand people gathered in Praia do Relógio, in Figueira da Foz, during the three days of festival. The closing, to celebrate Portugal’s victory in the European Football Cup final, had the best DJs playing. The line up featured Massivedrum, Joe Stone and Tujano. Around 8 pm two giant screens took over the stage, at Praia do Relógio, which transmitted the European final live, between Portugal and France. That’s how RFM SOMNII happily ended its 5th unique and winning edition.
This edition counted on thousands of people that, every single day, gathered in a facility with a brand new stage where 21 DJs from all over the world performed. With over 35m in length, a new set up based on a dream castle and screens covering the scenography plane, the stage assured the innovative and digital profile of the 5th edition of the RFM SOMNII.
To Luís Salgueiro, from Genius y Meios, producer of the event, “the 5th edition of the RFM SOMNII was very special”. “not only for having reached 100 thousand people, but the way we celebrated Portugal’s most significative victory in a sports event. There were special moments in the three days of happiness. The DJs themselves more than once sang Portugal’s national anthem as well as showed images of our flag in their sets. Lots of emotion. I want to thank the cooperation of all the official authorities involved, security forces, regional and national, that once again supported us in this adventure”, he said.
The 5th edition of the RFM SOMNII counted once again on SLE’s co-production and the art coordination of WDB that embodied the BIGGEST SUNSET EVER!
